The Apple of Our Eye

So I'm struggling with what to post lately, but like I said in my previous post, Todd and I are thoroughly amused at what type of fruit, vegetable, food, etc. our baby will be compared to each week. I'm now 15 weeks preggers and our baby is roughly the size of an apple! To clarify, this just means from one end to the other, not necessarily the circumference (or is it diameter?) of the food. So, this means the little guy/princess is about 4 inches long and weighs 2.5 ounces. What a little bitty thing!

And, an update for all those wondering, I did have my cerclage (or stitch) put in. That happened about 2 weeks ago now and all went well. The surgery was all of 5 minutes and I was done. They did put me out for it though, which is kind of funny, but I'd obviously rather be out than feel any pain. :) Now the baby should be nice and secure in there and hopefully stays put!

That is so funny how much that site compares the baby to food. I'm glad it's the size of an apple!

What a sweet little apple. Hey! Didn't Gwenyth name her baby Apple? Maybe she fell in love with this stage...

I liked the lime better, but I am guessing you like the bigger fruit because it gets you just that much closer:)

Congratulations!!!! I am so happy for you! I hope everything goes well for you. I remember that when I was pregnant with lily I called her my little lime for quite a while. I never knew when she turned into a apple. I love it!

I'm so glad it went well. And YEAH, you'd want to be put out for that one!
