Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice

We went in for a checkup yesterday and the doc did an ultrasound. Todd asked him if he could tell us what we were having, so he told us! As you can see, it's a girl! Everything is looking great so far—the baby is measuring perfectly and has a strong little heartbeat. We go have the "big" ultrasound in just over 2 weeks at the hospital, so we're definitely excited (and a tiny bit scared) for that! Hopefully we get a "girl" confirmation there. :)

You've all been wondering about a name, and we have a handful we're considering with two pretty strong frontrunners. BUT, I want to hear suggestions from you guys first, just for fun!

Thanks everyone for all of your support! We are SO happy and SO excited!

Congratulations! Girls are so fun! Sorry, I don't have any suggestions for a name, we have a hard enough time thinking of names for our own kids!

Hey Melissa,
the hooded towels aren't too hard to make at all. I just took a hand towel and a regular sized towel then messed around with the handtowl to make it the size I wanted to fit over the babies head. I would say a novice could make it. I also made a couple a while back where I sewed 2 washcloths together for the hood then sewed them to the regular towel, those towels were more like todler sized. Google it and you'll find some ideas that might help you out, if you want to make one.

YAAAAAAYYYYY! I am so excited for you! And for me because I am pretty sure that we agreed if you had a girl she was part mine. I will take the cutest 1/3 thank you very much! Again... So thrilled for you both!

Congrats! The Petterborg GIRL tradition lives on! (skipping a generation of course!) Girl names? I've always loved Emma and Taylor. We considered both for Lauren but neither fit! My newest little neice's name is Ava and I love that for her! I also like Ella and all those other cute names like that! Good luck!

Looks like you'll be painting a room pink here soon. Congratulations. We're thinking of Kara for our little girl but we found tons of names online. Can't wait to hear what you picked as a name.

Congrats! We are going to have little kiddos really close in age! how fun!! About the name thing, I've always loved Emily. Any suggestions for boy names? Daron and I are very indecisive people I'm afraid this baby will come into the world without a name...but actually I may have to see this little guy before I name him... hum well good luck with all the fun girl stuff!!
