Mommy and Me!

Today Izzie and I started our first swimming class together! I've been wanting to do a mommy and me class, but our summer schedule was looking kind of hectic with the new biz and all the traveling we'll be doing. Looking at the class schedules, I realized we'd miss a bunch of classes, so I decided I would wait until next year. I figured Iz wouldn't remember anything this year anyway. And then my mom pointed out that since Izzie wouldn't remember, I might as well go for it and just miss a few classes. So, we signed up at the rec center by our house! It ends up that we only miss 2 classes, and after today, I'm so glad we went for it. Izzie LOVED our little class and had a great time swimming. I think she's going to be a little fish, just like her dad!

More floating. She was totally kicking her legs and using her arms, even though you can't tell.

Here I'm trying to teach her how to blow bubbles in the water. I think she was a little distracted by her daddy taking her picture!

Now we're trying a back float in the lazy river. She was a little nervous to do this at first.

But then she relaxed and totally loved it. Isn't she sooooo cute!??
